Why Kind Quester?
During the 2024 event we encourage you to engage with our community and surroundings as a KIND QUESTER. During the past two years The Camano Island Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Embrace Whidbey and Camano Islands has been participating in a program called Regenerative Tourism - a holistic approach to tourism recognizing the wellbeing of our entire ecosystem.

Kind Quester is a mindshift and behavior shift for the event - a recognition that the event is much more than finding a coveted glass ball. By participating in a list of suggested "kind activities" below you are on your way to being a KIND QUESTER.
What Is a Kind Quester?
Complete 6 of the 16 suggested activities on the form to be entered to win a handmade glass pebble heart. Some items are date specific so plan ahead if they are of interest to you.As you complete items on this list you can check them off (or have a member at the location initial for you). Hand in your completed form to the GQ Headquarters (The Camano Center 606 Arrowhead Rd. Camano) during the event between 10 AM-4 PM to be entered to win. Each day we will randomly choose 15 completed forms to receive a glass heart.
I WAS NOTICED BEING KIND - LEAP INTO KINDNESS
All participating businesses have special cards that they may give out at any time - AND there will be Secret Kindness Agents (the SKA) on the ground in Community Sites watching for acts of kindness! The cards have a QR code on the back which will allow you to enter your information. On February 29th we will randomly draw one name from these entries to win a hand blown HEART glass ball. We will be shouting out Kind Questers on social media and in the gallery below throughout the event. Leap into Kindness with us!

Printed forms are available at the following locations during the event:
Stanwood - RE/MAX Elevate and The Community Resource Center (M-F 10-5:30 closed 12-1)
Camano - Event Headquarters at The Camano Center (all days 10-4) and Windermere Real Estate (M-Sat 9-5, Sun 10-5)

Emma Eder spent several hours at IGA chatting with other questers and staff, they even helped shoppers find their items!
Kristal is leaving little treats behind for others to find on their quest for treasure. She is 13 years old! Way to go Kristal!
I met Vanessa and her boyfriend at the Camano Plaza IGA. This is my first time questing, and they were kind enough to share some tips!
Mya was noticed being kind at Cactus & Co and patience will her grandma and grandma pa were trying to find the the quest ball .
